These modular refrigerator and freezers are designed and constructed for shipboard use in accordance with military specification MIL-R-21098.
Modular, panel construction, with cam-lock type fasteners, allows units to be disassembled, passed through narrow ship openings, and reassembled without the use of special tools.
Refrigerators and freezers are equipped with blower type evaporators connected by reusable quick-connects. each unit has hermetically sealed condensing units, R-134a or R-404a refrigerant and 2” dial thermometer.
Front louvered panel is removable to allow accessibility for servicing of equipment located in the condensing unit compartment.
Each cabinet is equipped with 7-½” removable mounting legs and a 3/16” channel base frame for deck mounting.
